Today at Indian Culture Center we have commemorated the anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Ghandi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was the most prominent leader of the Indian Independence Movement against the British Raj, for which he practiced nonviolent civil disobedience, as well as an Indian pacifist, politician, thinker and Hindu lawyer

Lal Bahadur Shastri was an Indian politician, leader of the Indian National Congress and second prime minister of India. He exercised from June 9, 1964 until his death on January 11, 1966.
