Ganesh Chaturthi 2019

Celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi with Indian families on the Rambla Prim in Barcelona. Chaturthi is celebrated to commemorate the birthday of the god Ganesh. The festival usually takes place between August 20 and September 15, depending on the Moon, and lasts for 10 days, culminating in the “Ganesh Visarjan”, when the idol is taken in procession, with music and dance, until to any important source of water for an immersion ceremony. In this way, they fire Ganesh, who will bring bad luck until next year.
