Celebrating the cultural diversity of the Sant Antoni neighborhood. Today we celebrated DIWALI with the early childhood education students from the Ceir-Arco school. The students were received by Robert Masih Nahar, founder of the entity. The Women’s Commission of the Indian Culture Center, together with teachers from the CEIR-ARCO school, have organized various activities such as a talk given by Babita Singh and Manu Kaur, on how the Hindu community celebrate Diwali in India and how the Sikh community celebrates Bandi Chhor Divas on the same day. Another of the activities carried out has been a dance workshop given by NĂºria Cabo, in which the students have been able to get closer to the fun world of Bollywood dance. The latest activity has been the celebration of a Diwali-related paper crafts contest, in which three categories have been awarded: best rangoli, best diya and best greeting card.
