Spanish class – Castañada / Halloween

Exit with the Spanish class students to the Sant Antoni market to see the typical products that we use in Catalonia to celebrate the chestnut and we have bought some sweet potatoes cooked on firewood. Afterwards, we bought some warm chestnuts and went to the center where Núria, the Spanish teacher, explained to the students how this holiday is celebrated and how the panellets, as typical as chestnuts, are made. We have also commented on how Halloween is celebrated, a party also dedicated to the deceased, which is gradually being introduced into our society.
