Indian music filled the streets of Barcelona’s Gràcia neighborhood with joy and color. Thanks to the dance troupe Dancing Ganesh, rhythm and fun took over Joan Blanques Street. Adorned with hundreds of charming jellyfish, like decorations dancing in the breeze, the street was transformed into a little corner of India in the heart of Barcelona. The audience was taken on a journey through various dances that showcased the country’s cultural richness. The highlight of the afternoon was the participatory workshop led by Gustavo Corral’s group. Children and adults alike joined in the steps, gestures, and smiles, proving that dance is a language everyone understands. It was a warm summer afternoon where Indian culture found a home in the Catalan capital.
