Today we had the pleasure of accompanying American professor Emilia Bachrach, a researcher at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, to celebrate her first Sant Jordi celebration in our city. After accompanying Manu Kaur to the event held on the Rambla del Raval, we took the opportunity to stroll down Barcelona’s iconic Rambla, enjoying the festive atmosphere, the book and rose stalls, and the unique Sant Jordi spirit that fills the city’s streets with life. Professor Bachrach is in Barcelona conducting research on the Indian community in Spain and, during her stay, she actively participated in various activities for both the Indian and Catalan communities, thus deepening her understanding of both cultures.
