Ugadi 2025 Celebration with RJ Hemanth

Celebrating Ugadi (the New Year in southern India), Ugadi derives from Sanskrit and means “the beginning of a new era.” Celebratory events included a pooja, an offering to the Gods, and the lighting of the traditional oil lamp by the Consul General of India, Mr. Inbasekar Sundaramurthi, and the Senator for Barcelona, ​​Mr. Robert Masih Nahar, among other dignitaries. The central event, organized by the Telegu Association in collaboration with the Indian Culture Centre at the Sagrat Cor Besòs school theater, featured a performance by Telegu stand-up comedian RJ Hemanth, who has arrived from India and is currently touring several European countries.
