The Indian Culture Center Foundation joined the celebrations of the 79th Anniversary of Indian Independence Day in collaboration with the Indian Consulate of Barcelona. The event, which took place at the Meliá Hotel in Barcelona, was well attended by families and friends from the Indian community in the city. The ceremony began with the solemn hoisting of the national flag by the Consul General of India, Shri Inbasekar Sundaramurthi. Next, the Dancing Ganesh dance group, directed by Gustavo Corral, presented a spectacular performance full of color that delighted the audience. The group, made up of male and female dancers of different nationalities, is dedicated to spreading Indian culture through dance and has been an integral part of the Indian Culture Center Foundation’s celebrations on numerous occasions. The Indian Culture Center Foundation is proud to have been able to participate in this significant event and to have been able to contribute to the promotion of Indian culture in Barcelona.
