II Àltima International Multidenominational Meeting: “A path towards the rituals of the East” an event that has brought representatives of various religions present in Catalonia to promote dialogue and understanding.
The event, organized by Àltima Funeral Services, was held in the Auditorium of the Fundació Joan Miró and featured presentations and round tables that offered a plural look at oriental rituals and traditions. Our colleague, Mr. Alok Lahad, representative of the Hindu Community in Catalonia, has participated in the round table: “The funeral ritual in the East”, with Mr. Emilio Egea, member of the Governing Body and representative of Institutional Relations of the Bahá’í Community of Barcelona, and Mr. Thubten Wangchen, Buddhist monk and founder of the House of Tibet in Barcelona.
The II Àltima International Multidenominational Meeting has been a space to share experiences and reflections on the rituals and traditions of different cultures and religions. The Indian Culture Center Foundation’s participation in this event is an example of its commitment to promoting intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding.
