Celebrating Ugadi, the Hindu festival that marks the beginning of the new year in several southern Indian states. On this day, families gather to perform rituals and prepare traditional dishes such as Ugadi Pachadi, which combines six flavors: sweet, bitter, salty, hot, sweet and sour, and astringent, symbolizing the diversity of life. The Sagrat Cor Besòs school hosted the celebration of this festival, organized by the Telegu Association Barcelona in collaboration with the Indian Culture Centre Foundation. The event included various activities, such as the lighting of an oil lamp by members of the Indian Consulate in Barcelona, an offering to the gods, and musical performances by members of the Telegu Association
