The Concepción Arenal School in the Sant Martí District became the center of the celebration of the Diwali festival, also known as the festival of lights, organized by the Telegu Association of Barcelona in collaboration with the Indian Culture Center Foundation. The event had the distinguished presence of the Consul General, Mr. Inbasekar Sundaramurthi, who inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the traditional oil lamp, a symbol of wisdom and prosperity. The youngest members of the community were the true protagonists of the celebration, parading in traditional Indian clothing and enjoying the lighting of sparklers that illuminated the atmosphere with colors and joy. To end the event, traditional prasad (blessed food or sweets) was given to the participants, wishing them blessings and prosperity.
